Thank you Unified Nassau

The No Kings rally was amazing, loved the community support.   Grateful for all who attended - loved the pictures.  Most of you know we resist hunger on Saturday morning with a group of extraordinary volunteers, so we were late to attend.   We arrived to see Democracy in action with so many supporting - everyone happy, dancing, waving signs, cute animals and a huge pile of donations for those in need in our community.  So many were blessed this past Saturday by your hearts of kindness - the pet food was much loved and we also donated to one of our local rescue shelters. From our hearts to yours we are thankful as were the people we serve.

As we know our community and nation is facing a crisis...with the loss of SNAP.   All actions need to include a food drive... we are our brothers and sisters keepers  - it is up to us to look after the least of these, the stranger, the hungry, all who need just a little extra love, kindness and compassion.  Love is always the answer... when people ask, what are we going to do?  My answer is love more...

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
